The Killcare Peninsula... a world of its own

With just 1400 properties surrounded by ocean, bay and 3000 acres of Bouddi National Park, the Killcare - Hardy Bay - Pretty Beach - Wagstaffe peninsula is a unique and undiscovered wonderland.

There are seven unspoilt sandy beaches in the area, only one of which (Killcare Beach) has vehicle access. The other six are accessible only by foot, and they include Maitland Bay (site of historic Maitland shipwreck in 1898), Lobster Beach, Tallow Beach, Little Tallow Beach and Bullimah Beach.

Just 900 metres over the hill from spectacular Killcare Surf Beach lies the tranquil Brisbane Water, Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe offer deep water moorings, Marina, boat ramp and public jetties for fishing, boating, canoeing, wind surfing etc. Wagstaffe is literally around the corner from Broken Bay, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River.

There are breathtaking views from many vantage points in the area, comparable to the best the world has to offer. The view from the lookout on the Scenic Road, looking down the coastline over Barrenjoey, Lion Island, Hawkesbury River, Palm Beach and the headlands to Manly is spectacular and well worth a visit.

There are activities galore in the area... surfing or a leisurely swim in the patrolled Killcare surf, snorkelling amongst the tropical fish at Putty Beach, bush walks, boating, sailing, horse riding and trail rides. A leisurely afternoon on the deck of the quaint "log cabin", Hardys Bay RSL, a cappuccino at NW6 cafe or a two hour scenic ferry ride around the Brisbane Waters... whatever pastime you desire, whether active or passive, you will find it here at Killcare.

Could all this be only an hour from Sydney? YES!!
Killcare is just 50 minutes from the Wahroonga end of the of the F3 Freeway.
